I am a counsellor with a history in psychiatric nursing with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals navigating chronic pain, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, emotional overwhelm, and nervous system dysregulation. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in modern pain neuroscience and mind-body healing principles.
I believe chronic pain is always real, while also recognizing that the brain and nervous system can become stuck in protective patterns long after tissue healing has occurred. I work with clients to better understand the relationship between pain, stress, emotions, fear, and the nervous system, helping them gradually shift from cycles of fear and vigilance toward greater safety, flexibility, and resilience.
My work integrates Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), emotional awareness, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, and parts-based approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS). I aim to create a space where clients feel understood, empowered, and supported without shame or dismissal of their experience.
In addition to chronic pain work, I have experience supporting individuals with anxiety, trauma, depression, burnout, and life transitions. My goal is to help clients reconnect with their lives, values, and sense of possibility beyond pain.
