Detailed Information

Kim holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with over 16 years of experience providing psychotherapy to adults, both in person and virtually across British Columbia. Her approach is holistic and strength-based, grounded in the belief that healing happens when we explore the connection between our emotions, thoughts and physical symptoms.

Kim is certified in Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) and has completed extensive training in other evidence-based approaches to chronic pain, giving her a strong foundation of knowledge and tools to support clients navigating these challenges. She also integrates mind-body techniques into her work with individuals dealing with anxiety, perfectionism, sensory processing sensitivity and over-stimulation.

Kim has firsthand experience with the complexities of living with chronic pain, ME/CFS and other neuroplastic symptoms for over a decade. Following her own remarkable improvements using Pain Reprocessing Therapy and mindfulness techniques, she developed a strong passion for helping others navigate similar paths. Kim is devoted to helping her clients explore the mind-body connection behind pain, fatigue and other chronic symptoms, so they can release fear and feel at home again in their bodies.
